Prophecy implies the Antichrist would be polling much better.

But also, the middle-eastern man named “John” had no fucking idea what the fuck America even was when he wrote all that. And it’s a very young religion too.

I dunno. People say they hate him, but also that they would vote in him again and do the stuff he asks them to do (buy his phones and etc).

    What are you bitching about?

You were promised one, and one showed up.

Don’t blame other people because you had certain expectation that weren’t realized.

“I was promised an army of demons.”

So you’ve never talked to a trump supporter or seen a maga rally or parade?

Have you not noticed all the white supremacist?

Or did you miss the whole January 6th thing?

Or ICE kidnapping and shooting Americans?

Or the Russian invasion of Europe?

Old christian joke: A flood hits a man’s town. He climbs onto his roof and prays for God to save him. A rowboat comes by; the man waves it off, saying “God will save me.” A motorboat comes; same answer. A helicopter comes; same answer. The water rises, he drowns, and meets God in heaven. He asks, “Why didn’t you save me?” God says, “I sent you a rowboat, a motorboat, and a helicopter. What more did you want?”

You been sent 5 armies of demons, and you still aren’t satisfied???

Jeez kid, how many people have to die before you admit you got more than you paid for.

This is the kind of thing one thinks after injecting quite a bit of THC, but a conspiracy theory I half-believe in is that shit like Left Behind was a plot to mislead people so they wouldn’t recognize him when he showed up.

So much of what your average white fundie/evangelical Christian believes about eschatology is not really in the Bible. It’s all mostly based on a Bible edition from 1917 plus John Bircher stuff - see the obsession with the United Nations. It can sorta be an anti Catholic church thing too, but fundiengelicals have mostly had a truce with Catholics since they formed their anti abortion coalition in the 70s (in the Left Behind series, the original pope does get raptured, but most media has the pope as either the anti-Christ or an eager collaborator)

This is how they imagine the end of the world

The Antichrist is a lefty who promises peace and tolerance and good things, so there’s nothing wrong with building a statue to this great guy, almost as persecuted and powerful as Jesus himself. Global warming is fake, really the sign of the end of the world is litter boxes for furries at school.

Funny they put Romans 1:26-27. I try to double check what they’re quoting to see what the context is, because it’s usually bullshit, or not at all condemning being gay. Like Genesis 2:24 lightly mentions a man leaving his parents and marrying a woman? lol yes straight people are mentioned, doesn’t mean being gay is evil.

But Romans 2:1, the very next part after 1:27 says, “You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.”

When it was increasingly clear to Christian extremists in the 70s there won’t be any forthcoming event at the end of the millennium, instead the bastards have to artificially force the second coming, so they created the scheme to destabilize the world.

Listen, when we started these ‘shitpost’ communities, it really wasn’t with the intention to post about a demented pedophile literally shitting in public everyday. You’re taking this way too literally guys.

technically the Antichrist we were promised was supposed to wear the pride flag, have a 10 inch dick, have 6 breasts, and be an 5 year old black (or latin) kid… I think that covers MAGA’s wet dreams.

Pretty sure that the Antichrist of Revelations IS a false prophet, amongst other things.

Doesn’t really matter, though, as it’s all authoritarianism fan fiction 🤷🏻

In Revelation, first comes the Antichrist, the Beast from the Sea (mar a lago anyone?) he is given the power and authority of Satan. The whole world marvels at him and worships him. He speaks blasphemy and makes war against the saints.

Next comes the False Prophet, the Beast from the Earth. He uses the image of the Antichrist to control the world. He is granted power to cause the image of the antichrist to speak, and command all who will not worship the antichrist to be killed. He calls down fire from heaven. He forces all the people of earth to wear a mark of the antichrist on their forehead or hand to buy and sell.

Revelation 13 if you’re interested in the epic sci fi novel at the very end of the Bible. Got me through many hours of church.
