mkfs.ntfs is the silent killer, other mkfs don’t allow writing over the root partition but summoning this kind of Windows magic will happily fuck up your shit.

In Finland we have a hydroelectric plant on every single river leading into the Baltic Ocean apart from Tornionjoki because half of it belongs to Sweden. We can’t have fish swimming upstream from ocean to lakes because of this. Don’t go overboard with hydro.
