Saying the US illegally attacked Iran because of Trump has the same depth of analysis as saying the murder of Franz Ferdinand is why WWI happened.
Agreed. This war happened because Iran supplies a large quantity of oil to China, and the oligarchs are fucking terrified of the rise of communism and the implications it has for their way of life. This war and the attack on Venezuela are both part of the encirclement strategy that capitalists are employing in an attempt to choke China’s economy before the west is eclipsed.
They’ve left it too late though, China’s green revolution will soon free them and the global south from the capitalist oil hegemony.
