Is pink insulation a US thing?
It’s common in Australia too. There’s literally a brand called “Pink Batts”
We don’t eat them though, only the regular flying ones.
Pink, yellow, white. These are all flavors of fiberglass insulation I have consumed.
Canada too. Basically, you have a choice between fiber glass (pink) and rock “wool” (green). Fiber glass is cheaper (iirc for lower insulation value) so most builders will use it.
