I just watched the first two seasons of Fraisier, but as far as I watched and I known, Niles was the best character of the series. I watched a couple of episodes of the Frasier’s revival but without him it felt empty. Going to give it a try once os available on the pirate network.

Niles is perhaps the best 90s sitcom character, period.

I think David Hyde Pierce holds the record for the most consecutive Emmy nominations. Eleven nominations for Best Supporting Actor in a row. Every year the show was on air, he was nominated (and deserved it).

Don’t bother with the reboot (Pierce is not in it), just finish watching the rest of the original series. It’s fantastic.

I think the consensus is that Niles is the funniest character on the show, indeed. He was the comic relief to an otherwise not that funny show.

One of the greatest actors ever. Maybe the greatest actor ever? Niles Crane allowed him to demonstrate a huge range, but i haven’t seen him in anything else

I went back to look at his filmography, because I remember seeing him in something recently (it was Julia, he plays Julia Child’s husband).

I had completely forgotten that he was in Wet Hot American Summer.

He’s in one of my favorite movies, Down With Love (with Ewan McGregor, Renee Zeilwiger, and the brown hair lady is also super famous, I’m not good with actor names. She’s in the American horror story show i think? Sarah Paulson or something like that maybe?)

Anyway, top notch movie. Fun costumes and set design, and it’s just poking fun at the 60s, worth a watch!
