Yeah, I lock my door at night, but i don’t think I have to. I’ll usually leave my house unlocked and unattended if we take a neighborhood walk, or even go to the park for a couple hours. The only person who has ever ever “broken in” to this house in almost 50 years is a family member with an addiction looking for something to pawn, and even that was only once. Never a stranger. I live in a city, not rural at all.
Dunno why they picked those two cities anyway. Plus traffic is a huge factor. Tampa and Orlando are only about an hour apart, and that drive can take 3 or 4 hours on a bad day.
My grandfather did (does?). There are a whole lot of people who believe the earth is only a few thousand years old. I have no further details cause you couldn’t pay me to broach the subject with him.
Maybe old people just look like that? I went to a rich kid college and they were certainly more attractive on average. Everyone’s teeth were white and straight, people’s skin and hair were beautifully maintained, clothing (including sweats) were well fitting and flattering. Glasses were flattering. No one was making due with anything, they just had whatever they needed.
My husband is blue collar. He goes where things need to be fixed. Sometimes his commute is 15 minutes, but it’s often 2 hours, when you factor in distance and traffic. A lot of blue collar deals with this, and yeah. We choose that shit over being homeless. His tech field laid him and everyone else off a few years ago.
Probably an old friend reaching out and saying I miss you. That someone would have me on their mind enough to reach out would be validating. Ever since I had a child I don’t have the resources to pursue my own friendships anymore, but In a few years when the kids are a bit older, I hope to get back to having friends.
If withholding lifesaving care is murder, everyone who hasn’t donated a kidney is a murderer. Everyone who didn’t donate blood this month is a murderer. Everyone who isn’t an organ donor is a murderer.
No one getting an abortion is a murderer, they’re just not agreeing to share all of their organs with another person for almost a year.
So yeah, I just don’t understand their position. They don’t call withholding medical care by sharing organs murder in any other context.
Once I did a single small inhale off a dab and missed all of friendsgiving sick in bed. Also once I took a hit off a friend’s vape and had to Uber home from the halloween party cause too high. Would much rather use an old joint where you kind of know where you are and can build more slowly
