It’s so funny to see people who hated the Trumps for their shit policies back in the 1950s get rediscovered by people in the 2020s, despite the Trumps never changing the whole time.
You would have liked to think someone like Harris or Biden or Clinton could have picked up on a Woody Gutherie song and leveraged it as a critique of someone’s shitty, racist housing policies. Of course, it would have helped if someone like Harris or Biden or Clinton hadn’t been promoting the same exact policies.
Damn! What a twist! Love it when subplots tie into the main narrative like this.
And you have to listen to his son, Arlo Guthrie. Alice’s restaurant is an anti draft classic.
