I’m certain this exact meme has been circulating the internet for several years, but with “dad” instead of “mom” in the caption. I am not crazy and I am not imagining this. I just wonder what’s the process behind this new version. Someone recently took the image and rewrote the caption to reference the other parent, but why??

That was the best prank on the primary school library computers I could think of until I discovered .bat files that could open windows endlessly and the poor windows xp eventually crashed. I also changed the icon on the shortcut to the file, so it looked like IE.

This requires more work but don’t make anyone an admin of their computer if they don’t know what they’re doing and you have to clean it up.
My uncle wasn’t the admin of his (Windows) computer, but he managed to install a web browser that was basically malware. The damn thing didn’t require any admin permissions to install, and it automatically ran a powershell script to reinstall itself if it was removed. I had to edit the registry to remove it. It’s crazy.
My mother has the sudo password. It’s fine, she doesn’t mess with the command line unless I write an email saying “open terminal and copy and past this command into it…”
And even then I have to be on the phone with her to explain how to open the terminal. But that’s way easier than trying to explain how to navigate through a bunch of menus.
