It’s the profits of Western imperialism. For all the talk of Free Markets, the US has insoourced critical manufacturing for a host of products. Especially high margin technologies.
The US can build cars at a global scale because it can make every compartment of the car in house. Honduras and the Philippines and Azerbaijan and Egypt simply can’t do that.
The Western countries are the ones with all the accumulated infrastructure.
