    I mean maybe, but you really have to contextualize the comic.

    We’re talking about concepts about the embracing of sexuality and attractiveness, about choice and control of ones body, at a time when sexual liberation was just barely coming onto the scene, in a part of the world which came from an extremely sexually repressive history. These comics are a huge challenge to the social authority around what is permissive regarding sexuality. They’re quite revolutionary.
