Greenland is not Denmark, it is a member of “rigsfællesskabet” ( Unity of the Realm ) just like Faroe Islands and Denmark.

yea, even the french parts are culturally closer to the usa than to france. we drive everywhere, we still use imperial for many things (inb4 someone posts The Chart), a lot of cultural products consumed here are american, more and more of them not even translated…

Culturally speaking it is way more similar to the US. But due to US politics people might not want to acknowledge this right now.

There are fundamental societal aspects where Canada absolutely is way way more European. Like Canada has only a third the homicide rate.

I thought so too, before I had been there. But now, after also having lived there for 1,5 years, I think Canada is more US light than European.
And dental and mental health are only for rich people.
