They do not care about implementing communism genuinely, it’s a propaganda tactic, you are aware politicians lie, right? This is akin to saying “I’m in the party of building an egalitarian utopia!” And then immediately enslaving half the population. Then you announce actually utopia is bad because this guy is bad. You would have to be an incredible fool to take their word for it and not look at their actions. To think that you think this is an anticommunist gotcha and not a clear case of lying to the public is embarrassing on your part.
The question is irrelevant, we should get as close as possible, and certainly enslaving people is no way to get there. you would have to be insane to not have utopia as the ultimate goal of political power, even if it is unachievable it should obviously be the goal.
Not in the current state the human race finds itself. Maybe someday, but we are nowhere near there yet. Until then any attempt to create “a stateless, classless, currencyless society in which the workers own the means of production society” will likely fail and devolve into something terrible, whether they have good intentions or not, and whether they call themselves communist or not.
This is a problem for all politicians not exclusively communist ones. At least the communist ones are saying the right things, even if they’re lying, the important thing is that they’re held accountable for their lies.
I thought communism had slaves?
Literally the opposite of the definition laid out by marx but I think you’re trying to be funny and failing
What was Pol Pot’s official title? General Secretary of the Communist Party of Kampuchea. Right?

Do you think creating an egalitarian society is possible ?

I agree

So how do we know if a communist leader is going to be column A or B before they take power?
