That’s a fair assessment. A friend of mine also dislikes MacFarlane for the exact reasons you mention, but I keep bringing up the Orville to him because it’s actually very well written and is proof that he’s got the capacity to respect heavier themes.
Agreed! With all the spells and gore it woulda been cool to get an animated show with the quality of a show like Vox Machina.
If his work on the Orville is any indication, I’m actually looking forward to seeing this play out. In a way I think the pairing is appropriate for the subject matter.
As with many others, The Boys series finale. I’m just glad it’s over.
Sure 5% now, but earlier seasons featured his comedy a little more prominently haha. Honestly, I’m a fan either way.
