The scary part for Russia is that this is not stopping. We’ve seen a refinery burning every second day since May and Russias AA doesn’t seem to have the ability to stop those attacks. So even if Russia is able to scape by now, Ukraine will keep bombing them and will further reduce their ability to produce fuel or critical components for their war machine.

Both sides have an interest in Russia being weak. Let it fight this war. Let it destroy the soviet stockpile of military gear. Let it empty out all reserves. Give it enough support so that it doesn’t fall before it has become totally weak. Sell stuff to plunder Russias monetary reserves. Wait until it looses its grip on its puppet regimes in Central Asia. Let it loose its grip on the puppet regimes in Europe.

It would totally make sense to make a law that every payment service must only obey to the laws in the European Union and be sanction proof. If that means that MasterCard or Visa can’t operate on the EU market or need to split off their EU operations, that’s ok

Indeed. They do know which flights are scheduled for which slot. They do know how many passengers have bought tickets for that flight. They also do know the names and nationalities of those passengers and they do know that most of them will arrive 1-3 hours before the flight.

If airports can’t provide the security personal to check those passengers, they totally have failed at being an airport and the people responsible need to be replaced

That’s the thing: I am prepared and I have prepared in the last years. I have bought air conditioning. I have solar on my roof. I built shady places in my garden. I am prepared and so are Millions of us. There are people who can’t prepare (f.e. because their landlord is not allowing air conditioning) and all those people who haven’t payed attention
