This. It makes sense for France and UK to maintain a few nuclear power plants and maybe even build one or two new ones because they are part of the military supply chain for nukes. For the rest of the EU, don’t waste money on new nuclear plants.


So “made in Europe” rather means “made in EU and partners”.


This leaves Britain as a rare modern case study: a rich country that deliberately raised barriers to trade and cooperation and paid the price.
I’m not convinced yet. Please, would another country with an even bigger GDP deliberately raise barriers to trade and cooperation?


Hm, is this good or bad? Usually acquisions (and IPOs) are bad for such services because the pressure towards profitability increases. In this case, it is at least a european (german) buyer and not american or chinese.
Germany feels obligated towards Israel because of the Holocaust. What is the argument by other EU countries? Or is it actually just Germany?
