my favorite is my login for my phone needing me to authenticate i with… the authenticator… on my phone…. which to log into the authenticator…. requires me to verify using the authenticatior…
you call the IT department and i get an AI telling me that all password retrievals are done through the web portal, so it sends the password reset… to my email, accessed by my phone, that needs me to authenticate using the authenticatior…
the real answer it to lie to the AI to talk to a person and ambush them with a password reset and don’t take no for an answer.
i am currently 1 month behind on my required training modules about the importance of network security.
no it’s not! i have bought games off other services and even from the devs own web site because it was cheaper. you just can’t sell STEAM KEYS which use steams service for cheaper then what it’s sold for in stream.
congrats you are a victim of historical white washing.
- black and white may be colors, but a tv is mono chrome because it is referring to information that is transferred. the flattening of the picture to only two colors, no matter what the chosen colors are is a loss of transferred data.
- no cleaning happens in isolation, and no cleaning is perfect, the towel absorbs not only remaining filth, but also the environment the towels is in, being consistently damp, in a facility where one does other activities. It will accumulate filth that prevent perpetual use of a towel.
- the nurse can be trusted up to and until a death. due to the available options of casket providers, the nurses main strategy assuming contradictory motivations, would be to assist the survivors in the choice of casket. anyone she would kill would only be taking money from the future, being net neutral. there will never be a shortage of a need of caskets, there need only be the approachable advertisement.
so the second step in enshitification then. seems to me nipping it in the bud seems the better play. best to just slap a “not in california” sticker on it and provide it the same as always.
at this point i dont treat peoples invocation of the slippery slope fallacy as coherent or honest based on historical evidence
then if it could be left blank or not a verifiable date… it would not comply with the law making its existence…. worthless. unless it is to make it mandatory in the future
your argument is an oxymoron. if the data is useful meta data, but the user can just put what ever they want as the date then it’s not storeing useful data. and that means it should not exist.
unless the point is to use it in the future where the user can’t enter what ever they want and thus legitimizes all the commotion.
i kinda liked how in the hitchhikers guide. they usually find the person who least wants the job and force him to do it.
probably to valiantly but ultimately fail to defeat entropy. to do actions that hold back entropy at all cost

1·4 months agoi was never a drinker and anxiety has me only sleep 3 hours a night for the last decade. also got messed up in the military. got to the point i started to have regular and increasing adrenal storms. imsupposed to get a therepist, and am currently taking hydrozine, which is like rolling dice to determine if i sleep, how long i sleep, if i will wake up on time, and if i will stop being groggy after 15 hours
Are you telling me that if you remove the laugh track from red dwarf… you lose a comedy and gain a sci-fi/horror/drama?

i heard the reason the printer wastes your cyan or magenta and refuses to print without it even for black and white prints is that it has to finger print the paper so it can be traced back to you
