In the US you can’t even buy vegetables right now without worrying about getting explosive diarrhea. Just the thing you want for your children.

Places in the U.S. even used to have paid lunch. Now the only way you get a paid lunch is if your salary.

And I say eight and a half hours because when you have a 30 minute lunch it’s hard to actually leave the building to go get something to eat.

And that’s the horseshit part. Now you’re at eight and a half hours of work time because they’re not paying you for lunch so you got to make up that extra 30 minutes.

In the US, it is extremely common for people to only get a half an hour, and not even a full hour, and it’s usually unpaid.

EDIT: Oh, and I left out the best part. At many jobs it doesn’t count toward your work hours either, so you work an eight and a half hour day or a nine hour day because you got your lunch break.
