They typically didn’t have any crumple zones to dissipate the forces of the impact so the full forces in the accident got transferred to the passenger cell and therefore the passengers. Trump is just a symptom of a country that’s been sick for years, especially since Bush. The relationship you had before and the position the US enjoyed is gone thanks to Trump setting fire to whatever soft power the US had left. All the middle powers, such as the UK, EU nations, Canada, Australia, South Korea etc are pivoting away from the US, strengthening trade with themselves and China and reducing reliance on US tech, US banking especially Mastercard and VISA, and US military equipment. The end of the petro-dollar has also begun.

People in those comments need to get a life. I can only assume that they were still at school if they’re considering 35 as middle aged.

How many people have died from nuclear plant accidents? We’ve had Three Mile Island, Chernyobl and Fukushima.

Three Mile Island: No deaths or injuries.

Chernyobl: 30 during the incident, by 2008 another 19 who received a dose high enough to suffer acute radiation sydrome although 7 of those had nothing to do with cancer. Another 15 from thyroid cancer due to milk contamination.

Fukushima: 1 death

Or we have functioning brains and know that due to the inability of renewables to supply a guaranteed base load 24/7/365 that energy has to come from a mix of options which includes nuclear.

The “not burning linemen” is simple to do. Inverters on solar panels will already automatically turn off if there’s no mains voltage detected, same can be implemented on plug in solar.
