This guy sounds like he was quite a piece of work. Also, unfortunately, a real racist piece of work. Its pride, hubris. Everyone is susceptible to sin as such, even the smartest folks, sometimes especially the smarter folk. To be Prideful is selfish. Pride says “i am the best and need to answer to no one”. Also in a group, selfishness is a negative trait that won’t benefit a group, and can potentially harm said group.
So many “traditionally” smart folks are just assholes…

Totally cant relate. I was home schooled by my mother who had also been a teacher for a few years before starting to have kids with my father. She is kind, gentle, beautiful and still a continuing inspiration in my life.

Oof… I shattered my pelvis into 13 pieces in a bad car accident in 2015. They thought i might not walk again, but I thank God im walking just fine. I also had major head trauma and had totally lost my short term memory at first. Its has fully come back, I think, mostly. I couldn’t even hold a conversation at first.

Maybe im sarcastic and defensive because people like you. Maybe my self-doubt and criticism is translated or transfered into a situation someone could take advantage of MY transition from 1 thing into another thing… can you imagine 1 thing randomly evolving into something different? Like a male dog suddenly realizing it is actually a female dog, but born in the wrong dog body? I say this in a joyful fun loving spirit. I dont mean to make anyone feel bad.
