I’ll admit that I still use v4, but only because I didn’t have a compelling reason to switch. That said, this feels like the kinda reaction I would have had were I in his shoes. 😂
HDR is like the only reason I’m on Windows 11. Already switched my entire home lab over to proxmox.
What would you recommend today if I wanted good HDR support and gaming with a Radeon GPU?
Or should I just wait for Mint to get those features?

However, while LLM usage is not in vogue around here, this is one situation where I think an LLM would be very handy.
You can use something like ChatGPT to read that post and then come up with a sensible step by step procedure where you can install and configure each program once at a time.
Let’s say you have a few movies and shows already downloaded.
You can get your feet wet by installing Plex Media Server, or another solution (Emby and Jellyfin are the top contenders). Then when you want to automate downloading if torrents, you get into the next step, and so on so forth.
Rarely does someone build an end game device at the beginning. Usually it’s a learn as you go and upgrade as the need arises.
The most important thing in the very idea behind any of this? Get started. One step at a time. Make mistakes and learn from them.

Well I think the frustration is we want novel new experiences with old world quality. Not to play the old game. Nothing wrong with playing old games. But I understand the desire for something new AND good.
Hence Expedition 33 being as well received as it was. The game was clearly made with passion, despite what you may personally think of the genre or other subjective traits.
Look, humans are good at subconscious understanding. We can tell when something is made with love and something is made with greed.
Sometimes we can’t articulate it. But we know.
I assumed this was more a sloppy jab at discovering your partner was more promiscuous than you envisioned rather than size envy. Not that that would be logically consistent either. All in all, meh tier meme.
