To be fair pretty much everything is most expensive in Germany, compared to EU. But you are right, especially in regards of transportation Germany is a huge problem in EU legislation.

Mit Strom heizen (ohne Wärmepumpe) ist teuer aber immerhin ziemlich ökologisch. Ich würde aber eher empfehlen den Strom nebenbei noch nützliche Dinge tun zu lassen, zum Beispiel leistungshungrige Computerspiele rendern.
