A criminal is at their lowest point of their life, so it only makes sense to try to provide them with the means to get up. Why keep them down, strip them of all their humanity? I think we just believe that people can change and improve so they are given some help.

Unless you have extreme confidence you won’t get caught, that seems like a one way ticket to physical and mental abuse hell. Well, probably prison too, but atleast there you might come across other likeminded people and you don’t have to touch any guns.

I looked into it, most places will sell “big” pints which are either 40cl or 50cl (though many craft breweries sell 44cl cans). I couldn’t find an exact reason for the 40cl pints, but apparently they became common in the 90’s due to recession and price increases and such. Beer in restaurants, bars and pubs is quite expensive here in general
