thank you, although i kinda feel like i’m “cheating”, i stopped enjoying them after a while, i relapsed a few times for a pack and i disliked them more and more (and got withdrawals after each pack) and now i don’t really feel tempted
in case you’re trying to quit, and failed going cold turkey, like i did a bunch of times, try setting a budget for a day, and decrease it gradually. i often smoked out of boredom, so then with the limit i only did when i really wanted it, and the want decreased too eventually
The few people that i read that actually quitted smoking did something like that but with vaping… like using progressively lower dosis and eventually realized that they hated it and stopped.
It has nothing to do with this, but i stopped drinking sugary sodas and specially coke when i realized that it tasted like shit when i stopped drinking it for a week or two.
They do restrict airflow, so if you suck the same way on an unfiltered cig it’ll fuck you up. But if you think they make you less likely to get cancer or lung disease, there’s absolutely no evidence of that.
there was a period when i rolled ciggies and sometimes i forgot to get filters, but i NEEDED a smoke so i smoked sometimes without one. there was definitely a difference, unfiltered felt more abrasive, damaging, i only did it if i “had” to.
but also “will fuck you up” is a bit of an overstatement
as someone who has tried smoking without a filter, they definitely do something other than brown (i have since quit)
I have mad respect for those who quit smoking. Well done dude.

Are you telling me the tobacco industry lied to us?
