Why does this keep getting renewed?
Because they paid an absurd amount of money for the IP and signed all the actors to multi-season long contracts.
Basically they’ve already paid for most of it.
Thinking of all the other shows I would have watched if they hadn’t been cancelled to pay for this.
I would have loved to see even one more season of the Expanse, in exchange for all three seasons of this garbage.
What shows did Amazon Cancel to pay for this?
I guess it’s a case of “too big to fail”, although I agree that it has been very mediocre so far.
