The whole thing is just clumsy palace politics involving characters that the show hasn’t done anything to make the audience give a shit about.

this is how I felt about dune for thirty years until the recent movies which were great, I went into them wanting to hate them because I hated the book, the audiobook, and the original movie but really enjoyed them.
