Just thought I’d remind those of us who are gonna be jumping an hour forward next week.
I hate having to wake up an hour earlier all of a sudden so I quicken my alarm gradually to adjust. Just a few minutes earlier each morning until I’ve reached an hour earlier than usual. Then when DST rolls around I just flip it back to the original time.
The EU Commission said that DST is up to the member states, and deferred it to the European Council for a coordinated approach.
And thats where the initiative dies I guess.
Yes, in British Columbia (Canada) the conversation was happening between BC, Washington (the state) and Oregon… Oregon never really bothered with it so it didn’t go anywhere until Trumps outbursts made that not matter. One of the few silver linings of his ineptitude.
I can’t imagine how difficult it would be when there’s ~26 Washington’s, Oregon’s, BC’s and everything in between…
