Waited nearly 8 minutes only for the request to “time out”. I have never had a poor experience with Anubis and, in fact, they’ve all been night and day better than anything else out there, until today.
The comment shows up empty for me. Over time, I’ve come to know this to mean the image instance is behind Anubis. I have to tap the colorful fedi icon to view it.

No idea how you got to Anubis. Image downloads are specifically exempt from it. Just opening the images URL should not even let you touch Anubis.
