[a graph of SMUGCRAFT FIGHTERS PLAYER COUNT OVER TIME is steadily rising]
[orange]
It’s the one and only game worth playing, if you play anything else you suck
[blue, grinning]
You are having trouble? Skill issue, try harder noob, go commit die IRL lmao
[yellow]
Casuals are the worst, uninstall and go play my little pony instead
[the SMUGCRAFT FIGHTERS PLAYER COUNT OVER TIME graph now shows a steady decline]
[yellow, confused]
Why is the game dying? Smugcraft Fighters is the best game around, are people stupid?
[orange]
New people don’t seem to stick around, this is weird, I don’t get it
[blue, still grinning]
It must be because they are noskill casual noob losers who can’t play for shit!
Cool comic, I like it!
I wonder who made it

Happens in all PvP games. Even when most players aren’t SmugMcToxicFace if they just curbstomp new players and never actively help them get better then they will quickly run out of new people to play against.
Millennials when somebody wants to install QoL mods to play [insert old game]
This is also true for <insert name of other game here>.
I don’t play this type of game, could someone explain the joke?
This video will explain both the joke and why you never play this type of game.
elitist culture created around niche game prevents people from playing and thus it stays niche and no one plays it.
It’s like how Mordhau is just people who are hilariously good at the game beating the shit out of each other until they burn one another out or they die from heart disease IRL.
Ahh, yeah, that applies to a lot of hobbies.
Oh no it’s Wildstar.
Or any full loot pvp focused MMORPG
PvP focused games turning toxic? I don’t know, sounds pretty unlikely to me. /s
