Been watching old episodes of the Dick Cavett show from the 1970s. If Colbert ever returns to tv talk shows, this format would suit him well. Both hosts are knowledgeable, genial, and quick witted.

No short five minute interviews, no desk to sit behind, no plugging your latest product — just a nice roundtable of articulate guests. Letting people speak and interact rather than the host talking over them or performing skits. Maybe lose the intro stand-up routine. Definitely include a live band as was common during this era.

I do wonder if alcohol or other substances were allowed in the green room for this show. The guests seem far more relaxed, open, and honest.

Welcome to Wrexham - still such a great show
Cassandre - just started season 6, sadly season 5 was good but not great and so far this season is the same

Primal is a banger, if you haven’t watched it yet. Tartakovsky’s ability to convey emotion, tension, and action in a series with virtually no dialogue is savant-like.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed. The latest episode (4) was great! I’m completely sold on watching the rest of this season. Tatiana Maslany and the supporting cast members are all fantastic!

Widow’s Bay. Just discovered this show today and binge watched up to the latest episode (8). It’s billed as a horror/comedy, but it’s mostly just funny. It’s kinda like if a season of American Horror Story had been a comedy. Kate O’Flynn is particularly hilarious in just about every scene she’s in. Highly recommend!

Just finished the second to last season of For All Mankind on Apple TV. The series has been great and this season was no exception, although admittedly a bit of a slow buildup. The finale was suspenseful and action packed. Looking forward to the final season.
