I couldn’t believe that the end of Kelly’s life was wading into a pool of alien inhabited water. As a scientist, the first thing she should have thought of was contamination of an unknown species and the damage she might be doing to this organism. It was still a beautiful end.

The whole mars thing didn’t feel like the scope of things was big enough or the consequences strong enough. Not bad just not great.

Now there’s the real possibility we get to see the writing totally go wild. I’m thinking of the weird stuff by Ronald D Moore in battlestar galactica like the opera house and hallucinations. I’m in.
